How I like to work
I prefer small, understandable systems, strong automation, and tooling that reduces friction instead of adding ceremony.
Personal projects, Linux-heavy workflows, self-hosting, and technical notes.
About
Mike Boiko is a Calgary-based software developer interested in useful software, clean automation, and systems that are pleasant to maintain.
Instead of repeating a full employment history, the goal here is to highlight personal projects, self-hosted systems, open-source maintenance, and the tools and workflows I keep returning to.
I prefer small, understandable systems, strong automation, and tooling that reduces friction instead of adding ceremony.
Most of the interesting work here comes from personal projects: CLI tools, package maintenance, homelab services, and the scripts that make day-to-day development smoother.
